Thyroid & Neck Ultrasound workshop

ENT Division, Department of Surgery, College of Medicine & Health sciences Sultan Qaboos University is pleased to invite you to participate in the Thyroid & Neck Ultrasound workshop which is conducted as pre 23rd Oman Otolaryngology Head & Neck Audiology Conference on 22nd September 2022. You will get experience from experts from all over the world.

In this workshop you will learn:

  1. Principles and physics of ultrasonography
  2. Optimization scanning techniques for thyroid gland
  3. Systematic Neck and Thyroid ultrasonography
  4. Risk stratification based on sonographic features
  5. Parathyroid ultrasonography
  6. Lymph nodes ultrasonography
  7. Elastography principles and current status
  8. Interventional ultrasonography (Ultrasound guided thyroid and lymph node FNAC)
  9. Ultrasound therapeutic procedures (Ablation)

*Each participant will have hands-on practice.
